Multi-universes:
Back in the mid-90's, because of the ability of the Hubble Space Telescope, NASA and some astronomers were wrestling with a discrepancy in time. It appeared the telescope might be seeing back further than the Big-Bang, and numbers were coming out like 20 billion years instead of 13.5 billion years. So it inspired me to think of multiple universes. (I was actually reading some sci-fi novels that suggested multiple universes might exists.) I had the analogy of a pot of water with bubbles inside. Each bubble represented a universe. The bubbles would form, than expand and collapse. I wrote to several science magazines and got a lot of rejection notices for my idea. "Wasn't one universe enough for you?", "Universe means one, no such thing as multiple." Well times change and some people are starting to think about it, so here are a few links to the idea.
